Skysurfing has achieved great popularity in recent years due to commercials, TV, and the movies. Skysurfers attach a snowboard-like object onto their feet and then typically exit the aircraft in a standing position. Once in freefall, skysurfers are capable of any combination of 3-D maneuvers. The skysurf board has a built in cutaway cable so the skysurfer can release the board at any time if necessary. It is advisable to have adequate skydiving experience and to contact a qualified instructor before trying skysurfing. |
